Hogwarts style Graduation in Edinburgh Castle!

Graduation day turned into the most memorable day of Gratitude for me last week, with my wonderfully supportive family at Edinburgh Castle. After being paraded in along the long red carpet to Kilted Bag-piping Scotsman (who led us into the Queen Anne room of the castle), what followed was the most wonderful presentation of prolific speakers and praise!
This award has been my realised dream to achieve what I thought was impossible after I assumed the opportunity to study for this qualification had well and truly passed. Thanks to the new directive that measures an individuals experience and portfolio when applying to study, it means that you can jump onto level 5 or 6 and that you don’t necessarily need to commit to the whole Degree.
I have gained my full Degree in no more than fifteen months and have studied and compiled all the work from home, whilst running my own Photography business at the same time.
To say I was humbled and proud at the same time is an understatement and an example of all the feelings I experienced that afternoon in such a prestigious setting! After the Awards were presented we were treated to a sumptuous high tea, complete with gorgeous thick sandwiches of all kinds, chunky cream and jam scones and proper English Tea!.. It was Howarts for the day ..no less.. and well worth all the aggro, commitment and study for. . .!
oh & the degree is an added bonus too!
A huge THANK YOU to my wonderful family who have been behind me every step of the way (incuding Ivory!) I love you to the moon and back a million times over and I am so glad we could celebrate together!
Special thanks to the Interactive Design Institute for its help and guidance throughout my course.
As of now (2) people have had something to say...
